Join CRH Denmark as a Programme Leader and drive our most critical initiatives, including M&A integrations. You’ll create clarity, align senior stakeholders, and ensure delivery where it matters most.
At CRH Denmark, we’re looking for a commercially sharp Programme Leader who can create momentum through strong governance and clear direction. You’ll sit at the centre of our most critical cross-functional programmes—from strategic portfolio management to M&A integrations—ensuring plans don’t just get built, but delivered.
Your RoleAs our new PMO and M&A Integration Lead, you will drive execution through strong governance and alignment with senior stakeholders. You will lead complex, cross-functional programmes, ensuring teams stay accountable and focused on delivering tangible outcomes – even in ambiguous environments.
M&A integration will be a core part of the role. You bring a solid PMO toolbox and potentially direct hands-on experience from post-merger integrations or major cross-functional business programmes, enabling you to build executable integration roadmaps, govern cross-functional delivery, and ensure that value is realised – not just planned.
Your primary tasks will consist of:
- Strategic PMO & Governance: Drive the strategic project portfolio in CRH Denmark by establishing and maintaining a consistent governance framework for prioritisation, approval, resourcing, and tracking of initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central coordination point across all workstreams, ensuring projects are clearly defined, properly resourced, on track, and that interdependencies are actively managed.
- M&A Integration: Own end-to-end integration of acquisitions, including governance setup, decision forums, and execution planning. Translate deal theses into structured integration plans with clear milestones and Day 1 readiness.
- Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Serve as the key communication hub for senior leadership, facilitating SteerCo forums, delivering executive reporting, and ensuring timely, well-framed decision-making.
- PMO & Capability Building: Strengthen project execution across CRH Denmark by developing and maintaining PMO methodologies, integration playbooks, and governance templates.
The ideal candidate for this role is a commercially sharp profile who brings structured programme management experience combined with a strong business understanding from similar roles in smaller or larger B2B companies. You can drive governance, keep cross-functional teams accountable for programme traction and deliverables, and engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive decision-making.
In particular, we’re looking for the following core competencies:
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build trust quickly across complex stakeholder landscapes, navigate matrix organisations and senior stakeholders, and drive decisions aligned with programme objectives.
- Programme & Project Management: Strong experience across both PMO and M&A integration contexts, building integrated plans (critical path, dependencies, workstreams) and delivering decision-driven executive reporting.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Structured approach to complex challenges, using frameworks and data to translate these into clear outcomes, KPIs, and actionable plans.
- Business Acumen: Ability to quickly understand key business drivers and engage confidently across functions, including operations, commercial, supply chain, finance, HR, and IT.
- Executive Communication & Change Leadership: Skilled at crafting clear, compelling narratives and leading effective governance forums that maintain momentum and alignment throughout programme execution.
You will become part of CRH Denmark and, more specifically, the Business Development and PMO team. We are on an exciting journey together with our colleagues in Denmark, the Nordics, and internationally to build a stronger, more connected, and more resilient business that delivers growth with focus on sustainability and market leadership.
We are a small team with a big impact, and we work closely with senior leadership on the most business-critical projects, programmes and acquisitions. We are busy, but we are also down-to-earth and prioritise having fun together.
Meet your new leader, MadsAs a people leader, I believe in freedom under responsibility. We are all here because we bring important experiences and capabilities to the table, which is also why you will experience autonomy to structure and plan your work, but equally high ambitions to deliver. I believe my role is to help set a common vision of what we need to achieve, so our talented colleagues can deliver and execute, as well as enable our colleagues to continuously grow and develop their respective capabilities and careers.
If the above sounds like you, send us your resume - no need for a cover letter.
